چکیده
Abstract Cutting fluid plays a cooling-lubrication role in the cutting of metal materials. However, substantial usage traditional flood machining seriously pollutes environment and threatens health workers. Environmental technologies, such as dry cutting, minimum quantity lubrication (MQL), cryogenic cooling technology, have been used substitute for machining. insufficient capacity MQL with normal-temperature compressed gas lack lubricating performance technology limit their industrial application. The technical bottleneck mechanical—thermal damage difficult-to-cut materials aerospace other fields can be solved by combining medium MQL. latest progress (CMQL) is reviewed this paper, key scientific issues research achievements CMQL are clarified. First, application forms process characteristics devices turning, milling, grinding systematically summarized from settings to innovative design. Second, mechanism its influence on material hardness, force, tool wear, workpiece surface quality extensively revealed. effects analyzed based form. Results show that effect better than or alone. Finally, prospect, which provides basis support engineering development introduced considering limitations CMQL.

متن کاملModeling and Simulation of Nanofluid Minimum Quantity Lubrication Surface Grinding Thermal Stress
The model of surface grinding with a nanoparticle jet flow of MQL was established. The surface grinding thermal stress of three workpiece materials, namely, 45 Steel, 2Cr13, and nano-ZrO2 dental ceramic, were numerically simulated. Results show that dry grinding generates larger tensile stress, whereas MQL grinding generates larger compressive stress. The finished surface of workpiece produces ...
